(Also known as: Why I’m Canceling Netflix)
Have you ever wondered how you can watch movies and TV online for free, and easily? You can watch close to any movie or television show online for free if you only know where to look. No shady downloads, torrents, or applications required. This may or may not be legitimate (um, I’m thinking not), so use your best discretion. You can always watch many shows from ABC, FOX, NBC, and CBS online for free (with commercials) completely legitimately, if you feel uneasy.

If you’re just looking for a coupon, click here for $5 off your next Rug Doctor rental. Happy cleaning! Read on for my review of the product!

When I moved recently, I rented a Rug Doctor from Lowes for $40 (approximately $35 plus $5 for the cleaning concentrate), and it was a surprisingly satisfying & fun experience. Before moving, I received some amazing & expensive furniture from a friend that needed cleaning in a bad way – the furniture had been used everyday & there were small dogs & cats involved. I tackled the project and it took me nearly 8 hours of off-and-on work to complete the job.
Click the link below to read on and discover how much clean furniture I got out of a $5 bottle of cleaning concentrate, and how to best clean your own furniture with my tips & tricks!

We’ve all seen the ads for free gift cards! ipods! iphones! Is it too good to be true? (If you haven’t seen these ads, check out the picture I put together, below.) I’ve been wondering for a long time whether or not these offers are legitimate. There are a few articles out there explaining the process and whether it worked or not, but of course I have to find out for myself. Most of them end with “And then, I was like, I’m not gonna do that!” I hereby swear that I will see this through.
Basically, what I have to do is sign up, complete 8 offers from 3 categories, and then I will be mailed a $500 Target gift card. Supposedly. Am I crazy? Maybe. Do I feel crazy? Definitely.

My gut tells me there is no way this will work, but for less than $15 I’m willing to try. What am I risking?
- Identity theft
- Credit card charges
- Monthly fees
How am I going to protect myself? I’m going to keep careful track of when free trials expire. I’m going to monitor my credit card for unauthorized activity. And I’m only going to complete offers from trusted companies that I would have purchased from on my own, without the incentive of a gift card.
Is it worth it? I don’t know. I guess I’ll find out!
Stay tuned for Part 2. I’ll take you through the process, as I experience it.

I recently applied for my US passport. The process was fairly straightforward, but as one who does not make a habit of reaching for her credit card, I like to have a heads-up before I spend money on anything. I’ve covered everything I had questions about along the way. Where do I apply for a passport? How much does a passport cost? How much does a passport photo cost? And surprisingly, you have many choices. Here’s everything you should know about applying for your passport.
